Curriculum: Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics

Using the acquired theoretical knowledge in Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics as well as the understanding on the operating mode of particle detectors, the student wille be able to contribute to the development and to the realization of experiments in all modern research branches, realized both at national and international laboratories.

In this endevour it will be of great help the ability of using both advanced mathematical tools and information technologies for numerical analyses and data elaboration.

The acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and the experimental methodology, learned during the studies, shall allow our students to be responsible of tasks and activities in other branches of physics such as, for example, astronomy, biomedical physics, cultural heritage and informatics.
